About Me

I’m a proud mother of four wonderful children and a grandmother to four beautiful granddaughters. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and they inspire many of the projects and recipes I share.

Between my daughters and I, we have a total of 5 cats and 5 dogs. Each and every one of them has a rescue story, and we all feel so blessed that they chose us as their family! No doubt there will be photos of them scattered throughout our site. 

(And, yes… we cook and craft for them, too!)

I’ve always been passionate about creating and crafting. Over the years, I’ve turned this passion into a fulfilling career. I owned and operated a bakery, where I delighted in creating delicious treats and sharing them with my community. This experience not only honed my baking skills but also deepened my love for sharing good food with others.

Crafting has been a lifelong love of mine. From sewing and crocheting to painting and scrapbooking, I’ve dabbled in a bit of everything. Quilting, in particular, holds a special place in my heart. Each quilt tells a story and is a labor of love, combining fabrics and patterns into something beautiful and functional.

Another passion of mine is home remodeling. I enjoy taking on projects that transform spaces, breathing new life into old rooms. Whether it's a complete home makeover or small DIY improvements, I find great joy in the process of making a house a home.

This blog is where I bring all these passions together. I share everyday projects, from simple crafts to more ambitious home remodels, and recipes that range from tried-and-true family favorites to new culinary adventures. My goal is to inspire and help you bring a little more creativity and joy into your daily life.
